Grammy Call

During a recent writing appt in Nashville I got a call from an unknown California number...my cowriter was laying down a vocal so I took the call.  It was Miranda from "the Grammy's". She was calling to get a sync release on the song I co-wrote with Steel Magnolia, "Edge of Goodbye".  She said they had visited the grammys and did a live performance of the song and they had videoed the performance.  The grammy members were so impressed with the song and the performance they decided to put it up on their website...thus the request for the sync license.  This was a first for me...seems it's always gonna be a good day when you're getting calls from the grammy people :)
